Proposition: Mary offers personal praise at hearing that the Hope of Israel will be fulfilled through the birth of the child she is carrying. We too are called to express praises to God, especially at Christmas.

Remembrance Day reminds us that wecannot take our freedom for granted. On this day we choose to express thanks for the sacrifice of so many of our fellow Canadians who gave of themselves, and even their very lives, to protect our freedom. Our God was an ever present help to our soldiers in battle, just as He is to us today. We are blessed by the words of Psalm 121. full story
