Brief History

On the first Sunday in November 1972, twelve people met for the initial worship service at Nepean Baptist Church. Since then, Nepean Baptist Church has grown steadfastly in numbers, yet remains a sincere and caring ministry reaching out to all in need.

Nepean Baptist Church is a culturally diverse and vibrant community of Christians blessed with caring and active members. God is challenging us to live out our mission of following Christ and helping others to follow Him by evangelizing through Christ centered living. We will nurture and disciple, through Spirit-empowered prayer, fellowship, personal support, mentoring, leadership development, small groups and other congregational ministries.

A Reason to Remember (Nov. 11th)

Remembrance Day reminds us that wecannot take our freedom for granted. On this day we choose to express thanks for the sacrifice of so many of our fellow Canadians who gave of themselves, and even their very lives, to protect our freedom. Our God was an ever present help to our soldiers in battle, just as He is to us today. We are blessed by the words of Psalm 121.
